I totally forgot to make a post about appearing in the Citron Review, as the winner of the Poetry section for the Queer Issue, which I am totally honoured by – Jenny Factor said absolutely amazing things about my poem,“The Things You’ve Learned” and I was so blown away by that. There was also a cash prize for the winners of each section so that was really cool. I know poetry doesn’t often have much monetary compensation, so it was a really nice bonus, and I needed the cash at the time.
