Very exciting news is that this month I published two things!
I had a short story published, Snake, in the second issue of the beautiful journal MISTRESS. I am so honoured and excited to be featured next to such amazing poets, and I highly recommend you check out the whole issue, as well as the first.
The second piece was an essay on classism and creativity that went live today at the Establishment, which is such a fantastic website. I am so delighted and grateful to have a piece accepted by them! This essay was really important to me, as poverty and classism are both topics I delved into when I was studying my undergraduate degree in Social Anthropology. It felt really great to flex my old academic muscles a little. I miss that kind of writing and those kinds of discussions.
Anyway! I hope you enjoy those two pieces of work, and hopefully I will be writing more in the future!
